Summer of Happiness is back for 2019! And today’s event – the launch of our brand new Learning Academy – is the first of many that colleagues ship and shore can enjoy.
Over the next few months we’ll be marking 1 year until Iona joins the P&O Cruises fleet, supporting you with your mental health and wellbeing, thinking sustainably for World Environment Day, enjoying a picnic in the park and BBQs on board, celebrating pride and recognising diversity during National Inclusion Week. Plus there’s a few fun surprises along the way!

So what is the Learning Academy?
The Learning Academy is designed to equip you with the tools you need to build a personal development plan. For all colleagues at all levels, It helps you identify learning and development opportunities which, with the support of your manager, you can seize!
Development opportunities are all around us, but it’s our responsibility to make the most of them and become the best that we can be. It’s our responsibility to keep our skills and knowledge up to date, to take advantage of workshops, gain qualifications, and learn from life lessons that we experience every single day.
Whether you’re in engineering or entertainment, marketing or medicine, shipbuilding or sales, bartending or business planning, there are many ways you can develop a rich and rewarding career.
