On Monday 11 February, the Cunard Million Makers team celebrated their amazing achievements at the annual Million Makers Awards.
Simon McCoy from the BBC and Sadiya Yasmin, a Young Ambassador for The Prince’s Trust, presented awards. The 16 companies taking part in the South East & East 2018 Million Makers competition found out they had raised a record breaking amount for The Prince’s Trust, a whopping £1.56 million and a new regional record!
Our amazing Team Cunard did an incredible job and raised a fantastic £52,003.28! The team were recognised as runner up in the Impact Award – which recognises a team that has made a significant impact on their company or community through a Million Makers initiative, and our Chair, Laura Delcie Davies received special recognition in the Outstanding Individual category!
A huge congratulations to the 2018 team, Laura Delcie Davies, Daniel Kur, Evie Fletcher, Daniel Lunn, Henry Au, Lauren McCann, MaiLiss Green, Rachael Laming, Victoria Snelgar and Christina Hannon. Thank you for your outstanding efforts this year and an extended thank you to all colleagues across the business for going above and beyond to create impact for young people in support of this fantastic partnership!
