What the participants had to say:
With the Tour de Corporate Shipbuilding all done and dusted, we asked a couple of participants to share a few words on the challenge:
“A fantastic opportunity to connect with individuals within the department who I don’t usually have contact with when working from home. I really enjoyed both the healthy competition and the banter which came along with it!”
“I highly recommend getting involved….it made me got off my ar*e!!”
“I loved it to go out for my hobby and share the kilometers I did. Every meter counts. I was confused how many meters I did. With this challenge I recognized it the first time. Unbelievable how often I got out of the house. This was a kick into my a… not to become lazy.”

**IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR STAGE 2**
Introduction of a run/walk to cycling ratio
After much debate and discussion with the team captains, we have agreed to apply a run/walk to cycling ratio to take into account the number of cyclists we have within some teams compared to walkers/runners in others. The ratio that will be applied (by your team captains) will be 1 to 3. So every km walked or run, will be multiplied by 3.
Important – please continue to report to your team captains the actual distance that you cover and activity that you do, they will apply the multiplier for you.
