Keep a lookout and be cautious of messages that contain the same red flags as the examples provided. If you suspect a Smishing attack remember the following: 

DOS  DON’TS 
  • Block the number 
  • Don’t reply – not even “stop” 
  • Report to it 
  • Don’t click on links 
  • Call a trusted number or contact via email to verify its legitimacy  
  • Don’t give information  
  • Trust your instincts 
  • For smishing attempts to your business phone, report using the “Submit a Phish” button in outlook
