Want to update your colleagues? Here’s how…

If you’ve got stories to tell and news to share about your department or your colleagues, it’s really easy to keep Carnival House and our ships’ company up to date through our communication channels. You can also use the channels to seek support for projects to help us deliver our purpose and long term ambitions.

The Insider
This website is our key communication channel and the best place to find out the latest news and read stories about our people, our brands and our fleet.

You can submit an article at any time and we’ll aim to publish it within one week. If your article is part of a bigger communications plan, let us know your schedule and we’ll support you with publication dates that are in line with it – just make sure you submit content at least a week ahead of when you’d like it to be live.

You’ll find guidance on submitting an Insider article here. You might also find this tone of voice guide* useful to help with writing your copy. (*The guide is stored on the Bridge so you’ll need to be logged into Carnival UK’s network to access it.)

Weekly Update
This weekly email is sent on a Friday to all Carnival House colleagues. It focuses on things that we need to know or do, as well as highlighting the lead stories live on The Insider. Features are short with links to The Insider or the Bridge for more information. There’s an all-colleague and a line manager version; the line manager version expands on featured updates with key manager-specific actions.

If you’d like to feature something in the Weekly Update, submit the form below no later than 12:00 on Wednesday for inclusion that week (unless you have additional information which needs to be uploaded to The Insider, in which case the deadline is 17:00 on Monday).

SMT Dashboard
Our colleagues on board have told us that the information and requests they receive from individuals ashore can sometimes be unclear and difficult to prioritise.

So we can support you in making sure your content lands in a way that will reach your objectives, whilst minimising disruption on board, we send out a weekly operational update to the Senior Management Team on board – Captain, Deputy Captain, Chief Engineer, Hotel General Manager and HR Manager.

If you’re undertaking a project that will impact our people on board in any way, you should include an update in the SMT Dashboard at all the key milestone points in your project.

Content missing

Deadline for content is 17:00 Friday to feature in the next SMT Dashboard, issued on a Tuesday.

Use this submission form to draft your content and email to internal.comms@carnivalukgroup.com
