Earlier this week, the P&O Cruises shoreside team joined together to reconnect in person – a momentous occasion after such a long time working apart.

The event, held at the Harbour Hotel in Southampton, brought nearly 200 colleagues together to reflect on the challenges of the past two years, celebrate the many incredible successes achieved, and reconnect everyone with our P&O Cruises vision, purpose and ambitions for the future.

Throughout the day colleagues worked together in group activities to explore what makes P&O Cruises so special; extraordinary travel experiences, designed in a distinctively British way, underpinned with how our SHINE service promise and Culture Essentials drive us to deliver this. Everyone then took their moment to SHINE and record a short video clip of what makes them proud to work for P&O Cruises… watch this space for the video coming soon!

There was also a welcome hello to over 50 new colleagues, and recognition for many colleagues’ long service – some having been with the company for over 30 years! The day then wrapped up with celebrations for P&O Cruises Q1 Culture Essentials Awards winners and runners up. Congratulations again to our individual winner James Anderson, and our joint team winners – the Bar Menus Team; Leanne Stutchbury, Kirsty Wood, Sam Gibb, Lauren Hammerton, Teresa Crookes, Karyn Hindson, Simon Reynolds, Dan Murphy, Ian Ball, Chris Cole, Jane Parr, Daniel Weight and Jenny Swift, and the Aurora Academy Team; Danielle Grant, Jodie Freeman, Diane Belshaw, Carol Attenburgh and many others on board.
