Upon arrival at the airport, please proceed through the normal customs/immigration requirements and collect your luggage.

If you are missing luggage, please file a claim with the airline PRIOR to leaving the airport.

Recommendation from Port Agent: put a tracker in your suitcase (i.e. Apple AirTag).

A copy of the claim should be kept for your records. You must notify Crew Manager aboard your ship as soon as possible. The Crew Manager will inform the Port Agent in Rotterdam together with sending a copy of the Claim Report.

After you’ve collected your luggage, head to the meeting point at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. You can refer to below map for directions. On your way to the shipyard you will also pass by Immigration office:

If you are joining the next day, you need to proceed to the hotel. You collect your luggage and proceed, by your own, to the hotel shuttle bus to Van der Valk Hotel. The shuttle bus leaves from platform A9-A13 located just outside the arrival hall. The bus runs as per below schedule, and it takes about 15 minutes to reach the hotel.

If your flight arrives after 16:00, you will stay overnight in Amsterdam airport and will be transferred to Rotterdam the following morning to embark the ship.
