On 19 August 2026, Queen Mary 2’s Crew Welfare Officer, Yonela Keka, alongside the Medical Centre, Food & Beverages, Photo and Spa teams, hosted a successful Crew Wellness Event focused on health, wellbeing and the support available onboard.
Crew members took part in an interactive wellbeing experience, visiting a range of stations and collecting signatures in a Mental Health & Support Passport for entry into a wellbeing-themed prize draw.

The event featured health and wellbeing advice from the Medical Centre, fitness and wellness guidance from Mareel Spa, healthy snacks and fresh fruit from the Galley team, refreshments from the Bars Department, and information about the Crew Assistance Programme (CAP) and other support services from Human Resources. The Photo Department also provided a fun photo booth experience.

The event created a positive opportunity for crew to learn about the resources available to them, connect with colleagues, and reflect on the importance of supporting both physical and mental wellbeing.
Thank you to all departments involved and to the crew members who helped make the event such a success.
