Crew welfare took centre stage on 1 September as hundreds of Iona crew members packed into the Headliners Theatre for one of the season’s biggest and most popular onboard events: Crew Bingo Night.
The evening got off to a fantastic start with a special performance from the Entertainment Headliners Team, who volunteered their time to deliver an exclusive show for their fellow crew members. Their energy and talent helped create a memorable atmosphere and set the tone for a brilliant evening.
Adding to the excitement was Entertainment Host, Ben, whose humour and enthusiasm as bingo caller kept the crowd engaged throughout the night.
With tickets selling faster than expected, anticipation was high for the event’s headline prize: a £3,000 Jackpot Bingo, funded entirely through ticket sales.
After a nail-biting final game, the lucky winner was revealed as Sally Putri, HOAS in Housekeeping. As Sally called out the winning bingo, cheers erupted across the theatre, with crew members celebrating alongside her as she made her way to the stage to collect her prize.
More than just a chance to win big, the event showcased the strong sense of community onboard Iona, giving crew members an opportunity to relax, connect and enjoy a well-earned evening together.
