Remember when checking in online was the first moment you could kick off your shoes and relax, knowing that you were on your way to a sun-kissed beach or snow-blanketed mountains via some exciting, international travel? Well that’s exactly the same experience we want to bring our Guests.
In 2019 our Port and Shore Operations team saw an opportunity to improve Guest experience and, after some successful trials on turnaround days in Southampton, P&O Cruises launched its very own online check In for our Guests, with the plan to introduce it to Cunard Guests in the future.
As part of our return to service plans there was an opportunity to harness this technology and speed up the roll out so that it could be used by Guests holidaying on both brands. After the successful first few cruises we’re seeing 92% of our Guest use online check in – a remarkable accomplishment. So as we continue to bring our ships back in to service, online check in will be available for both brands!

- Guests can tailor make their cruise and holiday well before they travel
