We heard from Franki Hart, Welfare officer onboard Queen Elizabeth about their egg-citing Easter celebrations…
The crew had a great time celebrating Easter, participating in an Easter raffle, with exciting prizes up for grabs. The excitement continued with the collection of Easter eggs, adding a touch of fun (and chocolate) to the day.
Gifts were distributed to various departments, a gesture that was well-received and appreciated by all. The F&B team prepared a chocolate buffet that was a hit among the crew, offering a variety of chocolate treats, including a chocolate fountain! And to add to the occasion, a special Easter dinner was served in the crew mess.
Religious services were held from 18 – 20 April and saw strong attendance, providing crew members with an opportunity to commemorate the holiday and celebrate their beliefs.
Adding to the festive spirit, the Easter Bunny made appearances around the ship, spreading joy and the spirit of Easter. The celebrations were a time for the crew to come together, create lasting memories and eat a lot of chocolate!
However you chose to celebrate Easter, we hope everyone onboard had an unforgettable time.

I’m absolutely thrilled to see my photo featured in the Insider article ‘An Egg-Cellent Easter onboard Queen Elizabeth’! I’m still feeling grateful and spoiled for the lovely hamper I received for attending the Easter service. It was truly special to come together as a community and celebrate the true spirit of Easter while at sea. Thank you, Cunard, for making this Easter so memorable and for recognizing my participation. I’m honored to be part of such a wonderful team!”
