It’s Britannia’s time to shine. Fresh from her exciting and extensive refit, P&O Cruises flagship is ready to reveal all her new finery.

We’re proud to continually invest in our beautiful fleet to ensure our guests enjoy enjoy a holiday like never before. This major makeover has added even more elegance and stylish enhancements visible across many venues on board Britannia. We’ve updated the ship’s décor with new designs, colours and textiles, bringing Britannia in line with the lighter and brighter contemporary touches of our newest ships, Arvia and Iona.

New ideas, more choices and refreshed venues include:

• Sunset Bar with warm, welcoming colours, cosy cushions and comfy seating for Lido Deck drinks with wonderful wake views.
• Our elegant Crystal Room, now fully dressed to impress in a stunning new colour scheme.
• New dancefloors in The Live Lounge and The Limelight Club for the nights guests want to party.
• New private viewing facility in the relocated Photo Gallery to capture those special memories.
• Refreshed and relocated ELEMIS shop with pop-up massage offering for quick-fix relaxation.
• Oasis Spa and Salon, enhancing the ambience of the ship’s most serene space.
• New furniture and tiles in a fresh, new colour palette for the Lido and Serenity pools.
• Enhanced splash area for children with colourful, interactive water features.
• A brand-new look and all-new mouth-watering menu at Market Café on Deck 5, where guests will discover sweet and savoury delights throughout the day.
• A more prominent Loyalty and Cruise Sales area, so guests booking their next holiday with us can be even more relaxed and enjoyable in a dedicated, comfortable space.
• A fantastic new look and fresh furnishings throughout Brodie’s, The Glass House, the casino, Crow’s Nest, Epicurean and Java, and new carpets in some of the Freedom and Club restaurants.

Improving life onboard for our crew

As our ships are a home away from home for our crew, we’ve also enhanced our crew areas for even more comfort in the working and living spaces. This includes a new upgraded Crew Hub, gaming room, USB charging points in all cabins, new furniture, flooring and coffee machines in the Crew Mess and much more! To celebrate the improvements, the team onboard organised a Grand Opening event with a traditional ribbon cutting ceremony, live music and a DJ.
