This Valentine’s Day we’re happy to share a true Cunard love story! On 29 December 2023, Queen Victoria’s Executive Chef, Roland, proposed to his his partner, Mel, in a beautifully orchestrated surprise event in Queen Victoria’s Grand Lobby.
Hannah Woodhouse, HRM on board Queen Victoria said:
Our amazing Entertainment Department, Production Cast, Photographers and many others helped put together music, singing and dancing in the Grand Lobby, which the then led to Executive Chef, Roland, getting down on one knee and proposing to Mel. It was a magical event and we are very happy to say that she said… ‘Yes’!
