The Prince’s Trust Future Steps is back! Throughout February take part in the 10,000-steps-a-day challenge; a great opportunity to take a break during your working day and take steps towards supporting the invaluable work of The Prince’s Trust; Cunard’s charity partner
Walk, run or roll on your own or as part of a team of up to six people, boosting your own health and wellbeing, all whilst helping to transform the futures of young people across the UK.
Why take part?
- Take a break – taking time away from your computer is a real benefit to your wellbeing.
- Get fit and have fun – look after your physical and mental health by getting out and getting active.
- Build relationships – rally your team and keep each other motivated – you’re all in this together!
- Spark a bit of healthy competition – 10,000 steps isn’t a hard limit. Compete to be top of the Future Steps leader board by taking extra steps and raising as many funds as possible!
- Fundraise to change young lives – The Prince’s Trust will support 60,000 more young people this year. They can’t do it without you.
Ready to take on the challenge? Here’s what you need to know.
Future Steps takes place throughout the month of February, starting on 1st February and ending on 29th February 2024. You can sign up to take on the challenge from today.
It’s free to register, though The Trust ask that participants do their best to fundraise £100 each. This will help them to support young people across the UK to reach their full potential and take their future steps in life.
During registration you will be asked whether you would like to create or join a team. Only one person should create the team. If your team has already been created, you should see the name in the drop-down list. If not, you can create the team yourself and let your teammates know (this automatically makes you the Team Captain).
The team needs to be connected to Cunard. When signing up, Cunard will already be listed in the drop down so make sure you select Cunard when signing up, no matter which CUK business function you work within.
During registration, a fundraising page will be set up for you automatically and will be linked to the event so your activity will pull through to the leader boards and the overall fundraising total.
You will be sent an email with a link to your fundraising page so you can share it far and wide, and keep track of your progress.
So what are you waiting for? Spread the word, get your team together and step to it as we look forward to The Prince’s Trust Future Steps Challenge 2024!
