Cunard has been partnered with the RHS since 2011, supporting a number of their most loved Flower Shows, from Hampton Court Palace, to Chatsworth House. This year, we are delighted to be at the world famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time, presenting the ‘Bandstand in partnership with Cunard’, from 22 – 27 May.

To mark Cunard’s presence at this iconic show and to celebrate a year to go until the arrival of Queen Anne we have worked with award-winning florist Mary Jane Vaughan to create a floral installation of an interpretation of the bow of Queen Anne as well as our iconic bellhop.

To encompass the colours of the bow and the bellhop, some of the plants have been sprayed with non-toxic water-soluble paint and at the end of the show, our cut flowers will be composted, and all perennials will be donated to St Mungo’s charity for their “Putting Down Roots” programme, a horticultural therapy and training project which uses gardening as a tool to help people in their recovery from homelessness, building self-esteem, confidence and sociability.

During the show, we will be engaging with visitors encouraging them to enter our competition to win a four-night voyage on Queen Anne in 2024. Embracing the horticultural theme of the show, the competition cards have been printed on seeded paper so nothing goes to waste and of course, our real life bellhops are on hand to welcome guests to the Cunard stand.

The Bandstand in partnership with Cunard is the entertainment hub of the show and will present an eclectic line-up of music acts for visitors to soak up the soulful springtime sounds of Chelsea in full swing.
