Cunard is proud to partner with Historic Royal Palaces to present Crown to Couture, which opened to the public at Kensington Palace London on 5 April, running until 29 October 2023.
Cunard and Historic Royal Palaces have a shared aim of re-interpreting the traditional making it appealing to today’s audiences and Crown to Couture features timeless fashion, synonymous with Cunard’s sense of occasion and passion for fashion.
Prepare to be dazzled as the palace State Apartments transform into London’s hottest catwalk under the expert direction of Alexander McQueen’s production designer, Joseph Bennett, promising a truly unforgettable experience.
From Charles II to Katy Perry, Crown to Couture is the largest exhibition ever staged at Kensington Palace, taking visitors on an immersive journey through the palace to discover how the Royal Georgian era inspired today’s iconic red-carpet looks.
Over 270 objects are on display, including Lady Gaga’s luminous green dress worn at the MTV Awards and the world-famous Silver Tissue Gown worn at the court of Charles II in 1660s
The exhibition launched at a glittering event attended by stars of fashion, music, and industry experts on Tuesday 4 April and Cunard was delighted to be a part of the evening with their iconic bellhops on hand to welcome guests for a first look at the display.
