Showing appreciation for each other is really important, we all know the power that positive feedback can have. So what better way to thank a colleague for their commitment to Corporate Shipbuilding and our Culture Essentials than nominating them for a Corporate Shipbuilding Star Award?
What do we mean by a Corporate Shipbuilding Star Award?
The scheme is intended to recognise colleagues who have gone above and beyond in their day job or made you stop and think ‘wow!’ The awards are internal and nominations can come from anyone within Corporate Shipbuilding, irrespective of their location or department.
All nominations are reviewed by both the Exec and Leadership Teams and the two lucky winners chosen. Each winner will receive a £100 gift card (to use anywhere and up to the value of £100 in other currencies) AND an additional day of annual leave.
So, why should I nominate someone?
There are many reasons to nominate a colleague for an award, it might be because they have gone above and beyond in their day job, you might want to recognise the support they have given you or maybe their approach to something has made you stop and think ‘wow!’ Please remember to think beyond your immediate team and department when nominating.
When sharing your nomination we would also like you to think about which of our Culture Essentials your nominee has demonstrated, might be one, might be all. Please provide as much detail as possible in your nomination. You can find a full list of our Culture Essentials here.
How do I nominate someone?
