For her winter 2022 season, Arvia heads to the Caribbean for an adventure like no other. With her retractable SkyDome and bright, light spaces, she’s designed to make the sea the star and let the sunshine in – think swim-up bars, infinity pools, al fresco chill-outs and gazing upon sparkling shores with a cool spritzer in hand… In short, she’s the perfect ship to explore the wonders of the region.

Arvia’s Caribbean itineraries have been created with care to let our Guests explore eight of the region’s most idyllic islands: Antigua, Barbados, Curaçao, Dominican Republic (a maiden call), Martinique, St Kitts, St Lucia and St Maarten. Each has its own personality and charm, with a wealth of activities and attractions to choose from.

If Guests can tear themselves away from the extraordinary beaches, they’ll find unique cultural and historic attractions, and enchanting interior landscapes. They’ll be able to hike rainforest trails, explore underground caves, discover artisan chocolate and rum; feast on fresh catches; admire historic architecture, snorkel in rainbow reefs, take a wild helicopter ride or simply lose themselves on a pristine white beach to the sounds of lapping waves and lilting music.

There’s flexibility to explore the region their way. Arvia cruises range from seven to 22 nights so Guests can get a true taster of the Caribbean good life or take more time to immerse themselves in the beautiful region. Whether they join a positioning cruise departing from Southampton or opt for a fly-cruise to either Barbados or Antigua (new for winter 22/23), they’ll swap the cold and grey of a British winter for the warmth and blue skies of the Caribbean.

Of course, if Guests want to maximise their time on shore, Arvia’s itineraries include overnights and late calls at some of the region’s most exciting ports of call. All Arvia Guests enjoy an overnight in Barbados – where the party really gets started when the sun goes down. If they choose a 14 or 15-night cruise, they’ll also get the chance to soak up the evening vibe in Antigua (take in the evening vistas from Shirley Heights before a barbecue feast) and St Lucia (time to board that catamaran for sunsets, Champagne and stunning Piton views). And if they’re lucky enough to enjoy one of Arvia’s 22-night positioning cruises, they’re in for a treat with two blissful days in Barbados in addition to either two full days in St Kitts or two full days in both Martinique and St Lucia.

With so many exciting adventures, on ship and on shore, Arvia offers the best of all worlds. Here’s to welcoming Guests aboard for a great sunshine escape!
