P&O Cruises has extended its pause in operations into April 2021 in response to the current uncertainty around European ports of call – you can see a list of affected cruises here.

P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow said: “With hopeful news headlines clearly we do not want to extend our pause in operations any further than absolutely necessary, but given the ever changing guidance around international travel and the varying regulations in many European ports of call we felt it prudent to cancel these additional dates.

“In addition, as the final payments are due for these cruises very soon we felt it was the right thing to do for our Guests.

In the meantime we’re continuing our activity around our return to service so we can make sure that we’re completely ready when the time is right to return to sailing for us and our Guests.

We’ve already seen an incredible keenness to be sailing again from our Guests thanks to the amazing number of bookings we’ve taken for our P&O Cruises summer 2022 holidays, which has exceeded expectations and certainly shows their desire to be cruising once more.

We have so many exciting plans to bring these Guests unforgettable holiday happiness again including, of course, our biggest and most innovative ship ever, Iona.
