As many of you will already know, we sadly said goodbye to a number of colleagues from the Southampton office last week as a direct result of the impact COVID-19 is having on our business.
This week (w/c 3 August) marks the start of the new temporary ways of working for the Southampton office, which means the new working week becomes Monday-Thursday, until the end of December 2020.
Our updated organisation structure
In light of the recent changes, we have updated the full Corporate Shipbuilding organisation chart, please click here to view it.
In addition to sharing the organisation chart, I did also want to highlight a couple of role changes and appointments that have been made recently:
- Stefano Negro has been appointed to the role of Senior Director, Contract Management in the Contract Management Department.
- Tuur Killaars, with immediate effect, has taken on the role of Naval Architect within the Technical Department.
- David Chalk has been appointed to the role of Manager, Business Systems in the Asset Management Department. David joins us, from Carnival UK, on Monday 10 August 2020.
Focusing on the Future
To help us look to the future and to set us all up for success, we’ve created this guide, Focusing on the Future, which covers the key things you’ll need to think about such as new working patterns, teamwork, wellbeing. It also contains some useful resources to support you. Please take the time to read it.
It’s also a good opportunity to think about your goals and objectives for the remainder of the year and adjust if necessary.
Please note that some of the content is specific to our UK colleagues and where appropriate this is noted.
I know that these last few weeks and months haven’t been easy and I would like to personally thank you for your continued patience and professionalism as we navigate the future together.
Stay safe and stay well.
