A new era for our Finance department

Since returning to Carnival UK in January this year, I’ve taken the opportunity to have a fresh look at our Finance department and consider how we can ensure we’re fit for future growth, able to best support the wider business, and continue to add the most value.

This has been an enlightening process involving a number of key internal stakeholders as wells as external help.

I’m excited to share that earlier this week we launched our new Finance structure as our first step towards delivering these changes. We also took the opportunity to share our programme of process and system improvements which will help deliver our overall Finance vision, purpose and strategy – take a look here.

Over the coming weeks and months we will continue working with both our Finance team and with the wider business to embed these changes while focusing on continuous improvement opportunities.
