On 31 October we’re encouraging everyone to take time out of their day to enjoy 15 minutes of fun with some Halloween activities. Working in partnership with our Carnival UK official charity partner, Southampton City Farm, we’ve come up with a range of activities for you to enjoy, click here to find out more.
Stuck for fun, budget friendly activities with the kid’s this October Half Term? No fear, Shipmates, your social committee, are currently offering all Shipmates and their families subsidised entry to Southampton City Farm’s activities this October. Activities to choose from are;
Saturday 26 October – Autumn Festival
Join Southampton City Farm between 10:00 and 15:00 to meet the animals and enjoy pop up crafts, face painting and a scarecrow competition. Plus, you’ll be able to purchase farm grown pumpkins in the lead up to Halloween!
Entry for Shipmates and their families is FREE (see Shipmates email for full details) Non Shipmates entry: Adults £3, Children £1, under 2’s Free. No need to book.
Tuesday 29 October & Friday 1 November – Half Term Kid’s Activities
Would your kid’s love to get up close and personal with Southampton City Farm’s animals this Half Term? Choose from, ‘Be a farmer for the day’ and meet, greet and muck out farm yard animals or ‘Scales and Tails’ and get up close and personal with smaller animals on the farm. Please note all parents and guardians must remain on site with their child for this event.
Entry for Shipmates and their families – Adults free, Children £8 (see Shipmates email for full details). Non Shipmates entry: Adults free, Children £12. Event will run from 9:30 until 12:30. This event must be booked in advance by calling 02380 522706.
Tuesday 29 October & Friday 01 November – Halloween Hunt
Join Southampton City Farm between 13:00 and 16:00 and take on their Halloween Hunt. Follow the clues around the farm to find the different spooky creatures.
Entry for Shipmates and their families FREE (see Shipmates email for full details) Non Shipmates entry: Adults £3, Children £1, under 2’s Free (+£1 for a Halloween Hunt clue card). No need to book.
