At Carnival UK we’re committed to creating an environment where learning and developing yourself is business as usual. A place where you can not only continually improve your skills, performance and behaviours, but also share best practice, knowledge and be the best version of yourself.
Back in May we launched our shoreside learning academy, available through ‘The Cove’, our new social learning platform.
As many of you will have experienced at the Summer of Happiness event in May, the Learning Academy Guide and The Cove are the place to go for your development support. These provide you with a variety of learning opportunities, helping you build a personal development plan. Designed for all people at all levels, you can self-study and, with your manager’s sign off, enrol on workshops too.
Since launching we’ve achieved:
- 4,162 log ins to The Cove
- 820 active users
- 3,099 learning materials accessed
- 628 learning paths started (70 completed)
- 2,896 awards for learning achievements awarded
So, if you haven’t had an opportunity to take a look at The Cove yet please do. You’ll also spot additional content which will be added over the coming weeks and months.
If you’re unsure how to navigate the Cove, we will be hosting pop up surgeries on every floor on 10 July so please do come and say hello!
We will also be rolling out the Learning Academy to our fleet colleagues in July.
