In November and December we appealed for volunteers to give the gift of time for each P&O Cruises turnaround in Southampton, starting on 23 November until 21 December.
The volunteers were asked to spread some festive cheer and joy during embarkation by giving a heartfelt warm welcome to our Guests, helping to navigate Guests in the terminal or on the ship and answering any questions they had.
We had an overwhelming response – with over 250 Carnival UK volunteers offering their time to step out of their every day environment and assist our Guests.
Our Guest Obsessed volunteers wore a specially designed P&O Cruises t-shirt and blue Santa hat to make them stand out in a crowd!
We are incredibly grateful to all the volunteers for their commitment, enthusiasm and expertise. With their help, we were able to make a great festive first impression for our Guests and support our onboard teams on their busy turnarounds.
