In June, the spirit of love, acceptance, and individuality lit up the seas as our crew took part in Pride month.
Onboard Arcadia, the annual Drag Competition dazzled with colour, creativity, and charisma. The event was more than just a show — it was a powerful celebration of self-expression and unity. With no barriers of gender, race, or background, the night brought people together through mutual respect and joy. A huge well done to Team Arcadia for creating such a meaningful and inclusive experience.
On Aurora, the team enjoyed a spectacular Pride Pageant and Disco Night. Hosted by Nadine Cortez, a proud trans woman, the event was filled with warmth, laughter, and heartfelt moments. Crew members took to the stage in fierce and fabulous outfits, celebrating confidence and authenticity. The highlight of the evening was the crowning of Ramon BJ Lozada as Pride Queen 2025 — a moment met with thunderous applause.
Nadine reflected on the importance of celebrating Pride:
“This is the new color of the world. We are all human. We all should be loved.”
Following suit, Queen Victoria also embraced the month’s celebrations hosting a dazzling drag competition and disco night. Adding to the spirit of inclusivity, team QV also created a prominent display on the Burma road spotlighting Pride activities and showcasing information — a powerful reminder of the importance of visibility.
Well done to everyone who took part in Pride month. 🏳️🌈
