The Mid-Year Review period of our performance cycle is now open and closes on Friday 20 June 2025.

The Mid-Year Review provides a great opportunity for you and your manager to have an open and honest conversation about both your progress to date against your agreed goals and more generally how you feel the first half of the performance cycle has gone. We should celebrate success, no matter how big or small!

This is a great opportunity for you to recognise your achievements to date, review any feedback on areas where performance or behaviours could be improved and agree plans to address this.

During these conversations, it is important that you touch on career aspirations and needs in your role, allowing for a key opportunity for reflection.

Completing your Mid-Year Review
The first step is to ensure that you and your manager have some time set aside together to have this discussion. We recommend booking in 1 – 1.5 hours for this conversation, remembering that conservations and associated documents in myHR Portal, must be completed by no later than Friday 20 June 2025.

Additional support
This year’s Mid-Year Review document should look very familiar as it is very similar to what was used in the Year- End performance review last autumn and is aligned to the new corporate approach to Mid-Year reviews. It focusses on your performance goals followed by three questions which act as discussion points and a simple one step submission process.
