Of all the P&O Cruises fleet, Arcadia covers the most nautical miles each year so last week we were pleased to see her emerge from her well-deserved refit.

Now back in service Arcadia is looking better than ever with new carpets, furnishings and soft cushions in beautiful textiles and contemporary colourways, ready to take guests on unforgettable adventures all over the world.

Here’s a few of the improvements guests can expect

Be it a cabin, a Mini-suite or a Suite, in most accommodation types, new curtains, scatter cushions, desk chairs, sofas and carpets have all been installed.

Many bars have received new carpets, colour schemes and furnishings to keep the spaces feeling fresh. Similarly Belvedere, Meridian and Sindhu restaurants have all received new carpets, upholstery, curtains and blinds.

Elsewhere on the ship, lift lobbies, lifts, corridors, the Atrium, the casino and Spinnaker Bar, Bay and Ocean Rooms have all received new carpets. Oasis spa and salon have new furnishings and flooring, the Palladium Theatre has a new dance floor and open decks have brand new furniture.

And it’s not just guest areas that have been improved

Improvements have also been made in crew areas including cabins, the crew mess, crew gym and quiet room!

Thank you to Arcadia’s refit team

Refits are no small task and it takes great team work, planning and preparation to deliver one successfully. Congratulations to everyone involved in Arcadia’s refit including Carnival UK’s biggest Riding Team who supported across Technical, Deck & Hotel departments. Well done everyone!

  1. Looks amazing, I’m loving the new colour scheme, I look forward to seeing it all in person on my Norwegian Fjords cruise next May/June
