Marlon has captured ‘sailing as four’ in vibrant colours – showcasing creativity and the wonderful world of Cunard reaching all four corners of the world.

“… Sailing as 4, like the 4 elements, 4 corners of the world – North, south, East & West. The vibrant colours and shapes represent the exciting ways Cunard can offer guests and crew. With the shadow of Queen Elizabeth casting the number 4. The monogram letters fit the corners.”

Franciso has written a beautiful poem about sailing as four.

Read the poem here

“…In the beginning my idea was to compose a song… Honestly, I am not a very good singer or guitarist, even though I love playing and singing, so I thought it would be nice to leave it as a poem. I have worked in Cunard for 7 years and couldn’t be more proud. I was lucky enough to be a part of the inaugural team for Queen Anne, and so glad I’m able to be part of the Cunard family and history…”

A beautiful image when sailing as four was taking shape, with the Cunard red, piercing the black and white.

“I was involved in the construction of Queen Anne, seeing Queen Anne from blocks, to final delivery. I took this photo in Palermo dry dock as part of her Sea Trails.”

Entry submitted by: Gibson Negradas, Commis De Cuisine, Queen Elizabeth

A simple, yet very effective image, capturing the dedication of our crew across the fleet and the sacrifices sometimes made to deliver exceptional White Star Service

“This is a photo of My friend Robert, a Demi Chef de Cuisine, taken during production time for dinner.  A simple, but heartbreaking image – this young man brings a lot of burden on his work, so much sacrifice just to help his family. Just an ordinary seafarer…bearing the name of Cunard on his chest and living our brand values… every plate he finishes is a successful step toward his goals and family’s future.”

Entry submitted by: Kingsley Dalumpines, Hotel Assistant Galley, Queen Mary 2

An image from the heart, showing the amazing opportunities our fleet of four offers to our crew. This joyous crew member is literally on top of the world.

“I’m Kingsley Dalumpines from Philippines I really like to travel the world and this is my favourite place to visit – Olden, Norway. The breathtaking view is amazing.”

One flag proudly representing a brand, a fleet of four. Its simplicity and choice of music are timeless and supported by a creative motivation.

Sailing As Four

The mast, a reaching finger, pierces sky,
A canvas billows, catching sunlight’s kiss.
Four souls aboard, with dreams that rise so high,
They chase the horizon’s boundless, blue abyss.
Across the waves they dance, a rhythmic stride,
The salty spray a kiss upon their face.
As one they steer, through currents deep and wide,
A unity forged in this watery embrace.
Theirs is a journey, shared beneath the sun,
Where laughter mingles with the ocean’s roar.
Four hearts entwined, until the day is done,
Sailing as one, to find what lies in store.

Entry submitted by: Giovanni Alsong, Hotel Assistant Housekeeping, Queen Anne

A powerful reflection of teamwork and joy leading to the arrival of the new Queen set to cleverly chosen music.

“It is a pleasure to be a part of the opening team of Queen Anne and also to show our guests how beautiful our new ship is. And to deliver a once in a lifetime experience…

Entry submitted by: Sayoko Sasamoto, Japanese International Host, Queen Anne

The crew member captured the birth of our fleet of four from arrival in the yard, through the many highs along the way, until it was time to go home at the end of the tour.

“My adventure on Queen Anne. From the moment I saw the new Queen, from up in the air till the last sunset onboard.”

Our competition judges now have the difficult task of selecting our overall winners! One winner will be selected from each of these categories to receive: £500, plus £1,000 towards their crew welfare fund (if on board) or £1,000 towards a social event for their shoreside team!

Where will the trophy travel next? An overall winner will also be selected to receive the prestigious We Are Cunard Trophy – to take pride of place on board their ship or in their global office HQ. The trophy is currently on it’s way back from Queen Elizabeth, where it was for two years running!  Where will the trophy travel next… ?
