Cunard made a colourful return to the world’s biggest annual flower show RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival this month, with the ‘Get Growing Festival Stage in partnership with Cunard’.

Hosted by James Cannon, The Get Growing Festival Stage in partnership with Cunard is the place to find inspiration, entertainment and advice from some of the biggest names in gardening. We were also proud to present Cunard Insights speaker Anthea Guthrie, who has produced 16 show gardens on land and at sea, as part of the programme, with her talk “All at Sea in a Show Garden with Anthea Guthrie.”

Cunard recommissioned award-winning florist Mary Jane Vaughan who created the installation at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, to help bring some floral elements to the Cunard stand. The marvellous floral bellhop showcasing the new uniform joined them from RHS Chelsea Flower Show too (look out for this in the Atrium at Carnival House for its next stop!).

The MJV team also created a foliage backdrop with Cunard lettering made from flowers and four luggage trunks representing Cunard sailing as a fleet of four with flowers from a selection of the regions they visit, Alaska, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and the Transatlantic Crossing. The Get Growing Festival Stage in partnership with Cunard area was adorned with Cunard parasols and deckchairs for visitors to relax in whilst watching the talks.

During the show, the Cunard team and real life bellhops welcomed thousands of visitors to the stand, encouraging them to enter the competition to win a 7-night Fjords Voyage on Queen Anne in 2025 as well as promoting an exclusive RHS 10% booking offer. To embrace the spirit of the show and eliminate waste, the competition and offer cards were printed on seeded paper so visitors can plant them once they have entered the competition. We also gave away Cunard tote bags which are always a firm favourite and seen across the show and beyond!

It was an absolute joy to be supporting the Cunard stand on the Saturday and Sunday and so many conversations with RHS guests started with ‘I’m so glad you are here, we have been thinking about a cruise for some time now’. Perfect example of the strength and value of shoreside partnerships. Well done to the team for putting on a great event and looking after all team so well.
