First of all thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a colleague for our recent round of CCS Star Awards for 2023, we had a total of 14 nominations.
It’s great to see so many of you recognising others who are living and breathing our Culture Essentials. It was a tough decision to make but as we announced at the recent town hall, our winners are:
Angelo Marrieri, Building Manager in Marghera for Listen & Learn
Here’s what Angelo’s nominator had to say about him:
“As a Building Manager Angelo leads the team by coordinating each activity on the bases of his knowledge and the sharing of everyone’s feedback. He often asks for opinions, listen with attention, and reply with his own view without judgement, for most of the time reaching win-win agreements. He behaves coherently with every value and attitude he promotes toward colleagues as well as other stakeholders, demonstrating admirable self-control and strong values, so strengthening a serene and hardworking atmosphere in the office. He does share with other team members his own competences as well as he proves to be open to new learning by listening to all of us.”

Here’s what Meiru’s nominator had to say about her:
“During a colleague’s absence Meiru really stepped up to manage the Owner Supply process in China by ensuring good communication with yard and suppliers to resolve issues. She has also taken on additional responsibilities, such as gathering the weight information, in support of the project team. and is proving to be a very valuable member of the team. Thank you Meiru!”
