Here’s what Gareth Watts, our Charity Committee lead at Carnival House, had to say…

“Firstly, huge congratulations to everybody for completing this incredible challenge. When I look back at the photos, I think crikey, did we really climb that? And that’s without the bike ride or kayaking!

I don’t think we could have picked a better day, and the beauty of Snowdon and the surrounding area was absolutely stunning – a truly memorable experience.

What made the experience even more enriching was sharing it with everyone. Every single person was great company and I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to do the challenge with – I can’t remember laughing that much in a long time.

Through the blood sweat and tears, I can look back now and say that I can’t remember being so proud of a group of individuals as I was this weekend. Their will-power, strength of character and sheer tenacity to complete the challenge was truly inspiring and has raised an unbelievable £21,509 for BCH – such an incredible achievement, it’s really overwhelming.”

Humbling to have enjoyed such an awesome experience with friends new and old. I felt deflated when I got home because it was over! Everyone supported each other, everyone finished the challenge, and all I heard was laughter and enthuastic and empassioned conversations. I’ll always remember the weekend and cherish the memories, which are all down to eacn and every awesome member of CUK Snowdon Massive!
