As Heroes of Safe and Well, it’s a no brainer really – we’re pleased to announce that today we’ve installed a Defibrillator in the Atrium.
Located next to the HESS stand on the ground floor near the lifts, it’s designed to be used by anyone to save the life of someone who goes into cardiac arrest.
While no training is required as there is a simple step-by-step guide included on the box, our Facilities team are holding a number of sessions to help you familiarise yourself with how it works – you can book yours by following: Z:\Wellbeing\Defib Session.
Why have we installed a defibrillator?
While we are in the fortunate position at Carnival House that we’ve not needed one up until now, Defibrillator stations in public and work spaces are becoming more and more popular as a proven way to save lives when an unexpected emergency does happen.
With our dedication to protecting our people the benefits of having a Defibrillator talk for themselves.
