All Fixed Term Contract & Tour-based contract Colleagues – Future contract information now included in a Proposed Future Rotation Email
The Fleet People Operations Support Team continue to make improvements based on fleet feedback. With effect from August 2023, Fixed Term Contract (FTC) crew and Tour-based contract crew will have greater visibility of their anticipated future contract in a Proposed Future Rotation Email. This removes the need for the Rotation Plans on The Bridge which has been removed. The email will be issued 30 days before their planned disembarkation date.
Things to keep in mind:
- While the aim is to minimise changes to their next contract as much as possible, details may differ, such as a different ship or joining date, or it could be cancelled. We will contact the crew with updated information if this happens.
- The new future rotation email isn’t an offer of employment and doesn’t guarantee a future contract on board a P&O Cruises or Cunard ship. The crew will need to receive a positive end of tour appraisal rating and enter into a Seafarers Employment Agreement (SEA) with their employer, Fleet Maritime Services International Ltd. (FMSI)/ Fleet Maritime Services (Bermuda) Ltd. (FMSB) for their contract to officially begin.
