The ‘refer a friend’ incentive has gone back to its original offer of $200 / £150 for all Officer and Medical roles, with immediate effect.

** Amendment February -June 2025- Fitter Refer a friend Scheme** 

For a limited time only CUK will be accepting rating position referrals for the below positions at an enhanced offer of £500 per referral. 

This is valid for all new hire referrals from 5th February 2025 to 30th June 2025. 
This enhanced offer only applies to positions of Fitter Mechanic, Fitter Carpenters, Fitter Refrigeration and Fitter Plumber

Here’s how the process works:

1. Ask your ship’s management team for a copy of the new policy (or if you have access to GHESS you can find it on there) to make sure you and your friend/family member are eligible – you’ll need an active crew code to be able to use this scheme.
2. Speak to your friend / referral about the relevant position
3. Ask them to apply for the specific role via one of Carnival UK’s websites or through a Global Talent Partner:
   – P&O Cruises – http://www.pocruisescareers.co.uk
   – Cunard – http://www.cunardcareers.com/
   – Global Talent Partner (Manning agent)
4. When completing their application form, your friend/family should select “Refer a Friend”. When asked “How did you hear about us?” they should add your name and your employment number into the text box.

Process
1. Speak to your friend / referral about the relevant position 
2. Gain their permission to refer them to P&O Cruises/ Cunard
3. Ask them to apply for the role via your Global Talent Partner (Magasaysay, CTI or CSSI) 
4. When completing their application form, your friend / referral should select “refer a friend” when they are asked “How did you hear about us?” and add the name of the employee who referred them

Payment 
You will receive a payment within two months of the person completing 12 weeks service. You will be paid in the same way you receive your pay. Refer a friend candidates must not be sourced through a third party. The business reserves the right to withdraw, vary or amend the scheme at any time.
