If you’re embarking your ship in Hong Kong, please follow the guide below for information about airports, hotels and travelling to your ship.
Please note that embarking crew members must arrive at Cruise Terminal at no later the start of Ship’s Departure Clearance (approximately 5hrs before sailing).
IMPORTANT: Electronic travel authorisations (ETAs) and declarations (ETDs)
Electronic Travel Declaration (ETD)
HK Immigration has cancelled the requirement of filling Arrival Card. In addition, there is no requirement from HK Port Health / Customs to fill up any pre-arrival document.
For Indian National only:
Please ensure you have valid PAR before your arrival to HK. https://www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services/visas/pre-arrival_registration_for_indian_nationals.html
Although Indian Seaman (with valid Seaman Book) does not require HK Visa or PAR to enter HK, some airlines may not be aware of this regulation. They often refer to below HK Visa’s requirement (published on HK Immigration’s web) and demand PAR for all Indian travelling to Hong Kong.

Immigration check upon arrival in Hong Kong
Upon arrival at the airport, please proceed through the normal customs/immigration requirements and collect your luggage.
At Immigration Checkpoint, please proceed to Seaman Booth but NOT ordinary Booth (for Traveller / Guest / Visitor) with all documents mentioned at “Documents required for joining Crew” (Passport, Seaman Book, Hong Kong visa – if you are visa national, OKTB letter from your GTP)
Missing Luggage
If you are missing luggage, please file a claim with the airline PRIOR to leaving the airport.

A lost luggage report (with Reference Number) should be provided for your reference. Please share this report and notify the local Port Agent and Crew Manager aboard your ship as soon as possible.
Joining same day – transfer from airport to the cruise terminal
If joining same day: Please proceed to meeting point at Arrival Hall within HK Airport to meet Port Agent’s Driver. The driver will be holding Tablet Screen with Cruise’s Name on it. In case you did not come across our driver at meeting point, please contact Port Agent (Lawrence +852 90967384; Whatsapp enabled).


Joining the next day – transfer from airport to the hotel
If you are joining the next day, with hotel’s stay organized by Port Agent. At Airport, please proceed to meeting point at Arrival Hall (HK Airport) to meet Port Agent’s Driver. The driver will be holding Tablet Screen with embarking ship’ s name on it.


Hotels
If you are joining the next day of your arrival in Hong Kong, Port Agent representative will be taking you to one of the below hotels.
Once you have arrived at Hotel, you should receive a Welcome letter sample: from Hotel’s Front Desk.
On this letter you will find general information of Ship such as her Estimate Arrival Time, Departure Time and Berth’s address.
Most Importantly, the Hotel’s pickup time will be listed on this letter. Please ensure you checkout and arrive at hotel’s lobby at least 15mins prior to the pickup time.

At the hotel, please be prepared to give them your name and your passport.
All hotel bookings are made on a dinner, bed, and breakfast basis. Depending on your arrival time at the hotel, lunch may also be included.
All incidental charges, such as phone, mini bar, in room movies, baggage handling etc. will be charged to your account and must be paid by you upon check out.
MEALS
Meal allowances are organized by Carnival UK. The hotel will inform you of your allowance on check-in.
Transfer from Hotel to the Ship
Please be ready in the lobby for pick up no later than stated Hotel’s pickup time on the Welcome letter, unless told otherwise at check in. If a transportation issue arises, contact port agent Mr Lawrence +852 90967384 (Whatsapp enabled).
It is approximately 20-minutes drive to the pier from the hotel.
