In order to receive 20% discount on Shore Experience bookings:
To ensure your discounts are applied please introduce yourself and confirm your concession status. This must be done by the end of the last full day of the cruise however it’s best to talk to the Shorex Team about your pre booked Shorex bookings at the beginning of your cruise and secure any onboard bookings you also want the discount applied to. To make sure your discount has been applied please check your onboard account before the end of the cruise.
Staff must present a valid CUK laminex in order to qualify for the discount. Ship staff without a laminex must be listed as on concession travel (which can be validated by the Shorex Manager with the Finance Manger).
The refund of 20% will be applied to the booking by the Shorex Manager towards the end of the cruise (after the tour dates have passed).

How much discount will I receive?

Do my friends/family have to book the same Shorex as me to get a discount?
No, provided your friends and family are travelling in the same cabin as you, they will be eligible for the 20% discount even if they are not on the same tour as you.
If I have two cabins booked, will I be eligible for discounts on both?
Discount on two cabins can only be applied if they're booked due to there being three or more dependents under 21 on the concession booking. In this case all guests would be eligible.
How do I get the discount applied?

Are pre-booked shorex eligible for discount?
Yes, any tours which you have pre-booked in advance of your cruise may have a 20% discount applied to them. The on board teams will be able to view your shorex bookings by cabin and apply the discount once the tour has taken place.
Pre- Booking Discount will be returned to the onboard account not the original method of payment.
Will the discount go back to my original form of payment?
Yes, for any pre-booked shorex, the 20% discount will be credited back to the payment card used. For any on board bookings, the credit will be applied to your on board account.
All Shorex booking discounts will be applied and will be returned to the onboard account, this includes any bookings that were made by Credit Card Pre-cruise
When will I get the discounted money back?
For all Shorex bookings Pre Cruise and Onboard the discount will be returned to your on board account. If you are booked on a cruise which crosses over physical and logical cruises eg a Flymed 2 week, please check with the onboard Shorex Team for by port discount application process requirements, as all may not be able to be applied at the end of your cruise.
Can I still get a discount if I have forgotten my laminex or I am crew without a laminex?
Yes, in this event, please ask the Shore Experience team to validate your concession travel with the on board Finance Manager.
I am a contractor for Carnival UK, am I entitled to the discount also?
If you're booked on a concession cruise then you'll be entitled to the discount. If you aren't booked on a concession you won't be eligible.
What happens if the tour is cancelled by me?
Providing you are within the cancellation period, you will receive a full refund to the point of payment. The discount will not have been applied at this point. Standard shorex T&Cs apply for cancellations made closer to the date of call.
What happens if the tour is cancelled by the company?
Should the tour need to be cancelled by the company, you will receive a full refund to point of payment. The discount will not have been applied at this point.
Do I need to do anything in advance of the cruise?
No, there is no need to do anything in advance of your cruise, just log onto myP&Ocruises or myCunard, browse and book the Shore Experiences in the normal way.
Can I still escort tours?
Yes, providing there is an escort place available, you (CUK employee only) may escort a tour free of charge during OCS travel or concession cruising. Please visit the on board Shore Experience team and speak to them about the options available. If taking an escort place, you will be asked to perform escort duties such as introducing yourself as the escort, providing support to the guide and giving detailed feedback on completion of the tour. Full details will be provided on board.

P&O Cruises and Cunard, in partnership with Musement, offer our guests tickets to global attractions. The good news is, as part of this, Musement are now offering all Carnival UK employees a 10% discount on Musement bookings! These include tickets to museums, attractions and fun activities all over the world. Here’s what you need to know…
These are ticket only experiences for guests/employees who wish to explore independently when on a cruise with us. These tickets provide skip-the-line options to help guests maximise their time in destinations. Tickets available from Musement do not include local guides, transportation to and from the ship.
Employees are eligible for a 10% discount on any one Musement product when they use the specified code. This discount code is a one-time use code and may not be shared with friends and family.
An independent global provider of tickets to attractions in the destinations we visit that can be purchased online through a co-branded website (Like Holiday Extra’s for Travel Insurance).
How is this different to the Shore Experiences we offer?
Tickets available from Musement do not include local guides, transportation to and from the ship. Additionally, any tickets purchased through Musement do not carry the ‘Ship will wait’ guarantee – you must ensure you are back onboard before the specified All On Board time.
What if the ship misses a port of call, will I get a refund?
Each ticket has specific cancellation terms, and these will be presented to you before you confirm their booking.
Tickets through Musement do not come with an automatic refund if ships do not dock as scheduled however, you should refer to your Travel Insurance as many cruise specific policies cover missed excursions or arrangements affected by ships missing a port of call.
