Last month we asked our shoreside colleagues to complete our Pulse Survey to tell us what it feels like to work at Carnival UK (the good and the not so good) and to share their thoughts on how we can improve things for everyone.
The response was outstanding with 91% of colleagues taking the opportunity to Speak Up. Thanks so much to everyone for taking the time to complete the survey. Your feedback makes a real difference in helping us to understand your experience of working here, learn more about what we do well and need to hold on to, and of course, the areas where you most feel we need to make improvements.
How we’re doing
We’re really pleased to see that our Carnival UK employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is 30, an increase from both our pre-pandemic score of 27 in March 2020, and last year’s score of 23 in March 2021.
eNPS is tracked in our Pulse Surveys by always including the question: On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend Carnival UK as a great place to work to a friend or a colleague?
We have seen a decrease since the last time we asked this question in our Hybrid Working survey in February, when the score was 37. We’ll be working with our Employee Experience Groups (EEGs) to understand the reasons for this.
What happens next?
Our eNPS is just one part of our Pulse Survey. The full results have now been shared with our EEGs to explore feedback themes and put actions in place to reflect what you’ve told us. You’ll receive updates on this via your EEG over the coming weeks.
What do our Employee Experience Groups (EEGs) do?
Here at Carnival UK, it’s really important that we all feel empowered to Speak Up and voice our opinions and ideas. Just one of the ways we do this is through our Employee Experience Groups (EEGs).
With groups representing all areas of the business, your EEG help to identify potential improvement actions through talking to their colleagues to understand their views, which then inform and support our leaders to deliver a great employee experience for everyone.
We’ll be sharing more about our EEGs soon, so watch this space!
