As each Carnival UK ship gets ready to return to service, colleagues ashore support by boarding for a test overnight stay. These give the team on board an opportunity to SHINE and test all operational elements, as well as the new COVID-19 protocols now have in place.
During the test, we welcomed Bureau Veritas on board to audit and verify health and wellbeing standards on board our ships. Having previously given Britannia, Iona, Queen Elizabeth, Ventura, Queen Mary 2 and Azura the green light to sail again, Bureau Veritas were on board Aurora to assess and verify all procedures and protocols to identify and manage COVID-19 related risks.
We’re really proud to say Aurora was officially approved to return to service having passed her audit! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen.
